We are seeking a dedicated 3rd Chef to join our kitchen team at The River's Edge, Wimborne.

Salary/Benefits: £13 per hour + Tronc Tip System. Only 2 evening shifts and the rest breakfast and lunch shifts.

About the Chef Role: This role is integral to supporting the Head Chef & Sous Chef in a refined casual dining environment, newly opened and anchored by fresh, seasonal produce from our Smallholding and local suppliers in Dorset.

Chef Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef in planning, prepping, and executing daily menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services (Friday and Saturday evenings required).
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to uphold consistency and efficiency during service.

Chef Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen is essential.
  • Passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Ability to work up to 48 hours per week, maybe less at times, with Friday and Saturday evening shifts.
  • Must work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef and maintain communication across shifts.
