The River Grille, part of the Bristol Hotel, is one of Bristol's most elegant dining venues – famed for its superb steaks, vibrant ambience and unique setting. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of the River Grille at the Bristol Hotel.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining the highest service standards, and driving the commercial success of the business. Leading and inspiring the front-of-house team, you will create a positive working environment while delivering outstanding hospitality and operational excellence.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous Restaurant Manager experience within a busy restaurant, hotel, or hospitality venue
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest service
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to lead by example
- Commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, labour costs, and stock control
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods
