We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team at The Ritz London within the Maintenance Department as a Shift Engineer. Our Shift Engineer is responsible to respond to a variety of maintenance related tasks and will therefore need to demonstrate experience and knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including heating & air conditioning systems, as well as electrical and plumbing services. This role requires interaction with guests, colleagues, contractors, service providers, visitors alike - you must be able to communicate effectively and are expected to respond to any queries promptly and efficiently.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualifications in Maintenance / Engineering procedures or skills desired
  • Relevant experience in a Five-star hotel property is desirable
  • Knowledge of fire, safety, and risk procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
  • Good command of the English language
  • Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
