POSITION OVERVIEW
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team at The Ritz London within the Ritz Restaurant Department as a Chef de Rang.
As a Chef de Rang, you must be passionate about and committed to delivering exceptional service to our guests and clients while maintaining The Ritz London’s legendary standards of service. You must ensure you are fully conversant with all menu items, including their ingredients, presentation, accompaniments, and availability. You must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to take guests’ orders, recommend specialities, and upsell where relevant. Working closely with the kitchen, managers, and sommelier team, you must ensure the experience of food, beverage, and service in The Ritz Restaurant remains unparalleled.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Strong administrative skills and computer knowledge
- Relevant experience in a 5-Star or fine dining property
- Awareness of luxury service standards
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
- Great command of the English language, both spoken and written
- Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
