POSITION OVERVIEW

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team at The Ritz London within the Kitchen Brigade as a Night Chef.

Our Night Chef will be fully conversant with the Service Menus with regards to the breakfast service and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the night service by liaising with the back of house department. Additionally, responsibilities include ensuring that food preparation is of the highest standard at all times, and to maintain the appropriate amount of stock levels as directed by the Sous Chefs before they leave their duties. It also includes in assisting with preparation of meals for the Colleague Restaurant.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Qualification in Culinary arts, degree standard or similar preferred
• Relevant experience in a Five-star property of fine dining restaurant is desirable
• Excellent customer service skills
• Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
