The Future Voyage Concierge assists guests in planning their next cruise with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. The Future Voyage Concierge will build strong relationships with guests via onboard events that they may host and/or support, such as onboard sales, entertainment, and loyalty events. In addition, the Future Voyage Concierge assists The Shore Collection team in ports of call as an escort on tours, and hosts dinner reservations with guests. The main focus of the Future Voyage Concierge will be to build strong relationships and create Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection guests for life.

Essential Duties

1. Preserves future cruise revenue by connecting with our guests, setting appointments, and booking guests on their next Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection cruise experience
2. Provides answers and anticipates detailed questions regarding The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection products and services in a clear, concise manner
3. Closes reservations and maximizes revenue by following The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection sales technique and process
4. Builds relationships with guests through hosting and/or supporting events on and off the yacht. Events include but are not limited to onboard revenue, entertainment, loyalty, and scenography
5. Partners with The Shore Collection Team to escort guests on tours when in port
6. Hosts breakfasts, lunch and/or dinners with guests to build strong relationship

Qualifications

1. Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and flag certification for the duration of the contract and appropriate to position
2. Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications or industry sales experience equivalent
3. Ability to follow The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection sales process
4. Superior customer service, public speaking and presentation skills
5. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
6. Ability to learn and understand policies and procedures in order to make reservations and assist guests with each aspect of the booking process

The Lady or Gentleman must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills. Full use and range of arms and legs as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities are required to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency including the lowering of lifeboats. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be able to communicate in the English language in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers.
