Role Summary

This is a comprehensive, hands-on accounting role within a fast-paced and evolving environment. The Fund Accountant will work directly with the Head of Finance and will be involved in a wide scope of responsibilities including fund and corporate accounting, compliance, operations, and cross-functional projects. Collaboration with external partners such as fund administrators, legal counsel, and auditors is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fund Accounting
  • Assist in monthly NAV close processes in collaboration with fund administrators
  • Review and resolve discrepancies in NAV calculations
  • Coordinate with auditors during year-end audits
  • Corporate Accounting
    • Manage daily accounting for the management entity
    • Review and process vendor invoices in coordination with third-party accountants
  • Operations & Legal
    • Maintain operational workflows and vendor communications
    • Liaise with external legal teams on corporate and fund governance
  • Compliance
    • Help uphold adherence to global financial regulations
    • Prepare and assist with regulatory filings across jurisdictions
    • Support internal control documentation and compliance systems
  • Investor Relations
    • Address ad-hoc investor inquiries and documentation needs
  • Projects & Process Improvements
    • Contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and systems
    • Participate in special projects as the firm continues to scale

    Candidate Requirements

    • Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
    • Professional qualification (or in progress) such as CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent
    • 1–3 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or related financial roles
    • Solid understanding of accounting standards; US GAAP knowledge is a plus
    • Experience in digital assets fund structures
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting
