Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to autistic pupils, fostering academic, emotional and social development.
- Apply a positive behavioural approach and respond to complex needs.
- Support classroom teaching and promote learning through tailored interventions.
- Safeguard pupils and promote their welfare in accordance with school policy.
- Adapt interventions under pressure, solving challenges and maintaining resilience.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Empathetic and adaptable, with experience working with autistic children and complex needs.
- Physical and emotional resilience suitable for a primary diagnosis of Autism.
- Commitment to safeguarding and risk‑awareness consistent with national guidelines.
- Familiarity with positive behavioural management strategies.
- Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS and Safer Recruitment checks.
