Overview

Teaching and Learning Assistant – The Rise Sixth Form, co-located with West Thames College Isleworth. Full Time – term time only – 8.30 to 4.30pm. Based in Isleworth.

Responsibilities

  • Help learners thrive academically, emotionally, and socially by supporting their lessons and coursework.
  • Assist with review of learning and preparation for exams, including time management, revision skills, and essay writing.
  • Support learners when they are not in lessons located at West Thames College and at the sixth form base.
  • Assist with preparing for lessons and with coursework, and support learners in achieving their individual learning programmes.

  • Strong ability to solve challenges and provide personalised support.
  • Physical and emotional resilience to work with young people with a primary diagnosis of Autism, some with other complex needs.

  • Please note the appointed candidates will be based in Isleworth.
