Job Description

A huge opportunity has arisen for a Head of Social Media to join one of the UK’s most impressive agencies.

Based in Manchester City Center, this agency works with some of the greatest minds in the business and therefore your client base will be some of the best entrepreneurs in the UK. Whilst the team is small, it’s definitely mighty with some exceptional talent within; they are now looking for a Head of Social to join them on their journey.

As Head of Social you will be:

  • Getting under the skin of your clients’ brand and developing their requirements and objectives into effective social and content strategies, whilst forging strong relationships.
  • Managing and monitoring your clients’ social media channels, developing content calendars and writing content, activating across appropriate platforms.
  • Social listening, being reactive to trends and culture as well as deep-diving into your clients media to further understand topics and areas on which to develop content.
  • Managing a small team
  • Working with the agencies strategists and operations to ensure cohesiveness across clients content and social plans.

We’re looking for someone from an Agency background, where your specialism has been social and content. As the Social expert within the agency, you will be setting best practice among the team, but also helping to educate clients. You’ll be helping to set standards, direction and ultimately looking at the optimum results for your clients and in turn, helping the agency to continue being the best at what it does. You’ll have spark, flair and lots of drive and ambition to do well in this role!
