Machine Operative – Sheet Metal Location: Eccles Salary: £13.31 per hour Shift: Days We are currently looking for a Machine Operative to join our team in Swinton, working with a range of sheet metal machinery. Previous experience working with sheet metal machinery is not essential. We are keen to hear from candidates who have a manufacturing or machine operating background and are looking to learn new skills and develop within the role. The Role Your responsibilities will include: * Operating sheet metal machinery safely and efficiently * Loading and unloading materials * Following production drawings and instructions * Checking finished products to ensure they meet quality standards * Carrying out basic machine adjustments where required * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment * Working as part of a busy manufacturing team About You We are looking for someone who: * Has previous experience as a Machine Operative or within a manufacturing environment * Is keen to learn and develop new skills * Has good attention to detail * Can follow instructions and production processes * Is reliable and has a good work ethic * Is comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment Sheet metal experience is not essential — full training will be provided for the right candidate.
