Location: London (hybrid). Fixed term 2 years. Salary: £32,578 to £36,008. Full time.
Age International, the UK member of the HelpAge global network and the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), champions the rights, dignity and wellbeing of older people worldwide through policy influence, awareness raising and fundraising. We are looking for a passionate and politically engaged Parliamentary Officer to support and strengthen our work.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with MPs, Peers and parliamentary stakeholders to ensure the voices of older people in low and middle‑income countries are represented in UK political decision‑making.
- Support parliamentary engagement activities and identify influencing opportunities.
- Work closely with colleagues across the organisation to raise Age International’s profile and impact.
