The Role: Intervention Lead

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours a week term time only. Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.00pm. Fridays 8.00am to 3.30pm

Salary: WHFNJC M Grade

The Intervention Lead will lead on the planning, coordination and evaluation of interventions and student experiences that improve engagement, attendance, behaviour and outcomes – particularly for vulnerable and disadvantaged students.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of targeted interventions to support pupil progress and wellbeing
  • Coordinate and enhance student enrichment and experiences, including trips, workshops and wider opportunities
  • Work closely with pastoral leaders, SENCo and teaching staff to identify and support pupils with additional needs
  • Track and evaluate the impact of interventions using data
  • Build positive relationships with students, families and external agencies
  • Contribute to a whole school culture of inclusion, aspiration and success
