We’re now looking for a motivated and ambitious Junior Sous Chef to support our Sous Chef and Head Chef in leading our kitchen team. What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen
- Leading sections confidently during service
- Cooking and overseeing dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients, with a focus on seafood
- Supporting the supervision, training, and motivation of junior team members
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
- Helping to maintain high standards of consistency, presentation, and quality
- Stepping up to support kitchen leadership when required
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or strong Chef de Partie ready to progress
- A genuine passion for food, quality, and consistency
- A desire to develop leadership and people management skills
- Calm, organised, and confident under pressure
- Good knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen best practice
- A reliable, professional team player with a positive attitude
