The Richmond Group is the Benamor family’s family office, managing over £500m of assets. We build, invest in, and lend to startups in the property and consumer & business finance markets, both in the UK and internationally. RG’s central team is very small, with fewer than 20 people. The combined headcount of RG companies which we hold majority or large minority stakes in can be in the hundreds or thousands. RG’s aim is to deploy our money in ways that build great companies that solve real world problems and become strongly self-sufficient, with the ultimate aim of multi-billion £ floatation or exits. When those companies are young, or when things go badly we are often more involved, particularly around financial controls. Because of this, working even in a junior role in Finance at RG can mean being involved in a wide range of businesses, systems and negotiations. RG is somewhere you come to learn more that you’ve learned in your previous roles combined, and to do the best work of your life.
