Our Todhill service in Stevenston is currently recruiting for Nightshift Complex Needs Practitioners Level 1s! You do not need previous experience in Care to apply as we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Nightshift Complex Needs Practitioner including a fully funded SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care! Happily, we can consider non-drivers for these posts! This is a full-time post consisting of 39hrs per week. Shift times are 20:30 to 08:30.

The Role: At Todhill we support individuals with a variety of different needs such as ongoing Mental Health issues, Autism, Learning Disabilities and Dementia. This campus has recently undergone a multi-million pound development to provide 21 brand new homes for the people we support and these houses have been designed to respond to the needs and preferences of the people who will live in them as well as to fit in with the surrounding natural environment. With this development we feel that we have unlocked the full potential of Todhill's beautiful 105 acre rural site which includes a Day Centre Service offering a range of vocational and fun activities including horticulture, arts and crafts and animal husbandry.

You will be part of a committed team, supporting individuals with Autism and associated complex learning disabilities. All of the people supported need full support with all aspects of their life which includes either full support with personal care or prompting with personal care, support with cooking or prompting to cook meals, general household tasks, shopping and attending appointments. Some people have complex communication needs and we use different communication tools to meet the individuals' needs. Some of the individuals can get anxious and display challenging behaviour this always tends to be when the person is trying to communicate something.
