Due to our continued growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Property professional to join The Richmond Fellowship Scotland's Property and Facilities team
The Depute Technical Services Manager is a key management role with real scope to shape positive and constructive change across the Property and Facilities team, improving service delivery, exploring modern technology to strengthening performance and enhancing the experience of the people that use the buildings we manage.
As Depute Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing a strong repairs service. We are looking for a skilled manager with strong experience in housing repairs, who has successfully managed multi-disciplined/agency teams and contractors to deliver safe, efficient and customer -focused services.
As Depute Technical Services Manager, you will also manage the pre-contract development lifecycle for new-build and major refurbishment projects. This includes feasibility, planning, funding, procurement strategy, stakeholder engagement, risk management and programme governance. You will work closely with internal colleagues and consultants to maintain strategic oversight of programme and financial performance.
Strong leadership and management skills will be essential. You will have a proven ability to motivate, develop and performance manage teams, create and deliver operational plans, solve problems effectively and lead service improvement in ways that delivers excellent outcomes for our customers. You will also bring sound knowledge and experience of successfully managing health and safety, building safety, relevant housing legislation, risk management, value for money and continuous improvement principles.
