Our Teams are expanding in Greenock!! If you share our values and want to make a real difference, then we want to hear from you! Our fabulous team is on the lookout for two compassionate and creative female colleagues with a positive attitude to join them as Support Practitioners on a permanent basis. We have a full-time (39hr) contract and part-time (30hr) contract available.

For this role it is essential that you hold a full UK, manual driving licence with a minimum of 1 years' driving experience as the person we support has her own mobility car. You don't need experience in care to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Support Practitioner including a fully funded SVQ.

The Role

The people we support have a range of different needs including Mental Health, learning disabilities, Acquired Brain Injuries, addictions and past trauma. As a Support Practitioner, you'll play a key role in assisting with daily living tasks including meal preparation, medication management, attending appointments and activities, handling personal finances, and personal care. As well as practical support, you'll also offer emotional guidance and help individuals maintain meaningful relationships with their family and friends, empowering them to thrive in their own homes and communities.

You will support the individuals on an outcome‑based programme which will see them grow in confidence and learn life skills to increase their independence. You'll take an active interest in their hobbies which include going out for walks and to their social clubs, volunteering and shopping. With your help, you'll enable the individuals to explore new opportunities and reduce social isolation.
