Tier 2 Minister of Religion : Minister of Outreach and Family Pastoral Care
Job Purpose
The Rhema Pentecostal Church (The RPC Family) is a Pentecostal multicultural community church committed to discipleship, pastoral care, safeguarding, family support, community outreach and the advancement of the Christian faith.
We are seeking an experienced and ordained minister to provide dedicated leadership in family pastoral care, discipleship, community outreach and welfare support ministries.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- 1. To Lead family discipleship, biblical teaching, prayer ministry and spiritual formation programmes for adults, families and members of the church community.
- 2. To Provide pastoral care, counselling, crisis intervention, home visitation and spiritual support to individuals and families
- 3. To develop and and coordinate community church outreach ministries include faith based support initiatives for vulnerable individuals, refugees and families alongside other community workers within the local community
- 4. To Support safeguarding, welfare, pastoral intervention and spiritual care community protection activities involving vulnerable adults and families within the church and the community
- 5. Participate in church leadership, volunteer supervision, ministry planning, preaching rotas and administrative responsibilities in support of the church aims, vision and mission .
