We are seeking a passionate, self‐motivated, advanced Religious Worker, who will work as a Musician (Keyboardist, Drummer) at The Rhema Pentecostal Church-UK. The Keyboardist must demonstrate a genuine love for God and a relationship with Jesus Christ and must have a passion for worship and the role that music plays as an expression of corporate and individual worship.
Job Summary
- Be involved in weekly rehearsals with the Praise and Worship Team as scheduled.
- Accompany the Praise and Worship Team during scheduled worship services.
- Support the church's worship environment through the well‐prepared execution of music presented by the Worship Pastor.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to play keyboard and drums at a proficient and/or advanced level.
- Ability to sight-read and play music by ear.
- Ability to take direction and work as a team member.
- Skill of improvisation desired.
- Be highly proficient and have considerable experience playing various congregational styles of music: traditional and contemporary.
Job Description
- Properly prepare any music selections received by the Music Director.
- Receive direction provided by the Music Director in a positive manner as well as demonstrate a spirit of collaboration with others.
