An exciting position to deliver the next phase of growth in one of the fastest growing companies in the UK golf industry, this role will contribute to the growth and profitability of The Revenue Club by developing the customer base while delivering market leading service.
The individual will generate new business across Scotland or Ireland alongside the provision of The Revenue Club’s core service of digital marketing and revenue management. As well as setting up new relationships with golf courses across the region, they will manage aspects of dynamic pricing, and execute cutting edge marketing and social media campaigns. This is an ideal position for anyone that already operates in the golf industry in the regions and is looking for an entrepreneurial role with flexible working patterns.
Key Responsibilities

  • Development of new business in Scotland or Ireland through the effective implementation of the full sales cycle.
  • Researching: Identifying new business opportunities and potential customers in the region.
  • Generating leads: Reaching out to prospective customers and networking to develop a comprehensive sales funnel.
  • Building relationships: Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, clients and industry partners.
  • Meetings: Execution of face to face and virtualengagements with potential and existing customers.
  • Setting goals: Developing plans for business and revenue growth, and setting objectives for business and revenue growth.
  • Creating proposals: Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients.
  • Monitoring sales: Comparing current sales numbers to desired quotas, and monitoring sales progress to ensure corporate goals are being met through the use of HubSpot CRM.
  • Attending events: Including conferences and industry events
  • Revenue management of tee sheets to maximise income from visitor green fee sales.
  • Implementing marketing content for golf courses; primarily social media campaigns and email marketing.
  • Sales report compilation using REPORTS.GOLF to illustrate the impact of the service and make data led recommendations.
Key Skills
  • Excellent sales and business development skills are essential.
  • An interest in golf with a good knowledge of the sport.
  • High level communication and organisation skills.
  • Working knowledge of social media and email tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to use excel to scrutinise data.
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust working practices to suit a wide range of golf club technology.
  • An acute eye for detail.
  • Able to manage time efficiently, work remotely and to prioritise effectively.
Full training will be provided on all work required and the systems in use.
Package
OTE of £60,000, based on £30,000-£35,000 basic salary and projected performance related bonus of £25,000-£30,000 (uncapped).
Company pension scheme, phone allowance and laptop.
