The Retreat Clinics is looking for experienced registered health professionals to join our growing Adult Autism Service.

You'll be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality autism assessments for adults and helping people gain a better understanding of themselves through compassionate, evidence-based practice.

About the Role

As an Assessor / Senior Autism Clinician (Adults), you will

  • Complete high-quality diagnostic autism assessments for adults.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to reach diagnostic decisions.
  • Prepare clear and accurate assessment reports and maintain electronic clinical records.
  • Deliver person-centred assessments that reflect individual needs and strengths.
  • Identify and manage clinical risk where appropriate.
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement and evaluation.
  • Maintain professional registration and practise in line with professional standards.

  • Who We're Looking For

We're looking for experienced clinicians with a recognised professional registration and experience working with autistic adults, which would be Nurse, OT, SALT, Psychiatrist or Clinician or Counselor Psychologist.

  • Previous experience in Autism Assessments
  • Current professional registration.
  • A recognised core profession.
  • Experience working with autistic adults.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent assessment, communication and report-writing skills.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Good IT skills and experience using electronic records.
