Wholesale Admin and Operations Assistant
A leading international group of companies, known for its portfolio of well-established and highly respected fashion brands, is currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Wholesale Administrator & Operations Assistant to join their dynamic team based in Watford. This is an exciting permanent opportunity to become part of a global fashion powerhouse renowned for its commitment to creativity, innovation, and high-quality products.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting wholesale operations by managing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth and efficient processes. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced, fashion-driven environment while contributing to the ongoing success of a respected global business.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Follow up and track customer Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely processing
- Send POs to factories and sales order confirmations (SOCs) to customers
- Communicate and resolve any queries on orders with customers and factories
- Upload styles, sales orders (SOs), and POs in the ERP system and continue to maintain
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely shipments and deliveries
- Provide barcodes and packing and shipping instructions to factories
- Process stock into inventory, allocate orders, raise picking tickets and invoices
- Send weekly order books to the customers and chase them for booking
- Process customer booking forms and communicate delivery schedule with warehouses
- Advise customers on order status, delivery delays, and any related issues
- Work with factories and shipping departments on salesman samples
Person Specification:
- Relevant industry experience
- Ideally have worked with known retailers, Next, Debenhams, JD Sports, etc.
- Self-motivated, able to manage own workload and be a team player
- Highly competent IT skills β Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Would be able to pick up using the company ERP system quickly
- Paying attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and communication skills
