A highly regarded luxury fashion brand is seeking a Senior Trade Compliance Coordinator to manage global trade compliance operations across international markets. The role ensures the compliant movement of goods and materials worldwide, minimising customs risk, supporting efficient logistics operations, and maintaining alignment with evolving trade and sustainability regulations. Working closely with Production, Logistics, Legal, suppliers, and freight partners, this position plays a key role for the business. This role would suit someone with previous experience in a similar role within luxury fashion or premium consumer goods. Based in the London studio 5 days a week.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Oversee import and export compliance across UK, EU, US, Middle East, and APAC markets.
- Maintain accurate HS classifications, country-of-origin records, and product trade data.
- Prepare and review customs documentation, export declarations, licences, and origin statements.
- Manage free trade agreements and duty-saving programmes to support cost efficiencies.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve clearance issues.
- Monitor global trade regulations, sanctions, and market-specific import requirements.
- Maintain compliance records, support audits, and identify customs or regulatory risks.
- Support new market launches, sustainability initiatives, and internal compliance training.
Person Specification:
- At least 5 years' experience in trade compliance, customs, or international logistics.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, HS classification, and import/export procedures.
- Experience working across international markets and multi-country distribution networks.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Confident communicator able to manage suppliers, freight partners, and global stakeholders.
- Commercially minded with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
