We are looking for an in-house Technical Product Developer to join the Wholesale Product Team of a privately owned British heritage brand with over 150 years of history on a temporary basis. This is a key role focused on the development and garment technology of the menswear knitwear range, from initial design concept through to bulk production.
Key responsibilities:
- Source and develop the full menswear knitwear range
- Define blocks and sign off fit from proto sample through to pre-production sample
- Manage the day-to-day running of the PLM system and development plan
- Ensure all information is complete, accurate and updated in line with the critical path
- Build and maintain tech packs, BOMs and specs within the PLM system
- Communicate technical requirements clearly to suppliers
- Ensure key milestones and deadlines are met
- Work closely with the wider product team to deliver high-quality product
Person specification:
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong menswear experience is essential
- Experience in product development and garment technology
- Knitwear experience would be highly beneficial
- Highly organised, detail-focused and confident working in a fast-paced environment
