We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Marketplace Manager to lead and expand our client's global marketplace strategy for a fast-growing fashion business. This role will take ownership of their existing Amazon operations while driving expansion into additional international marketplaces including Zalando, Next, eBay and emerging platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in accelerating marketplace growth, optimising performance, and building scalable processes to support long-term global expansion. Based in London with hybrid working.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Own and manage our Amazon marketplace operations end-to-end, ensuring optimal performance across product listings, stock availability, pricing and promotions.
- Lead the expansion into additional marketplace platforms including Zalando, eBay, Next and other strategic partners.
- Monitor and analyse marketplace performance, providing regular sales, stock and forecasting reports to senior leadership.
- Act as the primary internal and external point of contact for all marketplace-related activity and enquiries.
- Manage marketplace marketing budgets, ensuring spend is optimised and delivering measurable ROI and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders, including US teams, to align marketplace strategies and share best practice.
- Lead international marketplace projects, including launches, platform integrations and trading initiatives.
- Support the long-term development and scaling of marketplace operations.
Person Specification:
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing online marketplaces, with strong Amazon Seller and Vendor experience.
- Proven track record of driving marketplace sales growth and managing platform relationships.
- Experience managing and optimising marketplace marketing spend and promotional activity.
- Highly organised with strong project management skills.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
- Experience with Amazon Merch on Demand would be advantageous but not essential.
