Our client is a leading ladies' wear supplier with a strong presence across major high street retail accounts. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a talented Print & Graphic Designer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded creative who thrives in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment, working across key accounts to deliver innovative and commercial print and graphic design, with a modern, contemporary feel. You must have ladies' wear garment experience & the right to work in the UK. No sponsorship is available for this role.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Will Include:
- Working closely alongside a team of clothing designers to develop print and graphic handwriting in line with each customer's design direction.
- Designing innovative, on-trend prints, including all-over repeat patterns, placement prints, and motif designs.
- Checking strike-offs and Pantone approvals to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Attending customer meetings and presenting work confidently when required.
- Researching and interpreting catwalk and trend directions into commercial, sellable designs.
- Working on customer briefs while maintaining a strong creative point of view.
- Liaising with overseas factories to ensure design intent is delivered.
- Producing high-quality artwork to a print-ready standard, meeting targets and tight deadlines.
Person Specification:
- A strong, commercial portfolio showcasing inspirational prints, graphics, slogans, and motifs across ladies' wear.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, multi-product ladieswear environment.
- Modern, contemporary design handwriting with a confident sense of colour and texture.
- Expert-level skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and related CAD software.
- Experience producing print-ready artwork, including all-over repeat, placement print, and motif design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across internal teams and with customers.
- Enthusiastic, creative and calm under pressure.
