A new opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing fashion supplier who specialise in delivering innovative, high-quality menswear to major UK retailers. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a Menswear Designer / Account Manager to join their creative and commercial team. This role blends hands-on design with direct customer management, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on both creativity and relationship-building. You will take concepts from initial idea through to final delivery, ensuring all product ranges meet market demands and specific customer requirements.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Design and develop trend-relevant menswear collections, ensuring each range reflects consumer demand and retailer identity.
  • Research emerging menswear trends, fabric innovations, colours, and graphics to inspire new ideas and maintain strong market relevance.
  • Produce CADs, detailed tech packs, and supporting documentation for sampling and production.
  • Act as the point of contact for key accounts, presenting design proposals, sharing updates, and nurturing strong, long-term buyer relationships.
  • Work closely with garment tech, merchandisers, and production teams to ensure fit, quality, and timelines are consistently met.
  • Monitor competitor activity and high-street movements to inform range development.
  • Travel as needed for development trips, sourcing, customer meetings, and occasional inspiration research.

Person Specification:

  • Confident presenting to buyers and managing customer accounts with professionalism and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
  • Flexible and willing to travel for sourcing, inspiration, or customer visits.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects at pace.
