A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Junior Womenswear & Girlswear Denim Designer to join our client, a well-established and highly successful supplier to leading UK and European high street retailers.
Based in London, this is an exciting chance for a passionate and creative designer to become part of a growing design team, working across several key retail accounts and helping to shape trend-led, commercial collections.
The successful candidate will have a strong eye for fashion, excellent trend awareness, and a genuine passion for product.

Main Responsibilities will include
- Research global fashion trends, catwalks, social media, retail markets, and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities across denim.
- Create trend-led, commercially viable womenswear and girlswear denim multi product designs in response to customer briefs.
- Develop seasonal ranges across multiple product categories, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and target markets.
- Produce high-quality CADs, technical sketches, and presentation boards for internal and customer meetings.
- Create detailed and accurate technical packs to support product development and sampling.
- Work closely with Buyers, garment technologists, and overseas factories throughout the development process.
- Contribute innovative ideas and product concepts while maintaining a strong commercial focus.
- Present design concepts and seasonal ranges confidently to internal teams and customers.
- Support the wider design team with trend research, range building, and product development activities.
Person Specification
- Previous experience within a womenswear and/or girlswear denim design role.
- Strong commercial awareness with a good understanding of the UK high street and current fashion trends.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work collaboratively across teams.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn, with a positive and hands-on approach.
- A creative thinker with a strong eye for detail and a genuine passion for denim.
