We are working with a highly successful London-based fashion supplier who are looking for a creative and trend-driven Junior Denim Designer to join their growing womenswear team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and ambitious designer looking to develop their career within a fast-paced supplier environment, designing trend-led denim collections for leading UK high street retailers.

You will work closely with the senior design team, supporting the development of commercial and fashion-forward denim ranges from initial concept through to final product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design and development of trend-led womenswear denim collections
  • Research seasonal trends, fabrics, washes, colours, and silhouettes
  • Assist in creating mood boards, trend presentations, and design concepts
  • Produce CADs, technical drawings, and tech packs for product development
  • Work closely with the wider design and development teams to ensure collections meet customer requirements
  • Attend fittings and support product development processes
  • Conduct market and competitor research to stay ahead of current trends
  • Liaise with overseas factories and suppliers throughout the development process
  • Support the team in managing multiple projects within a fast-paced environment
Person Specification
  • Must have at least 2-3 years experience within womens denim working with a UK supplier or retailer
  • A genuine passion for fashion and denim with strong trend awareness
  • Creative with a commercial eye for the UK high street market
  • Strong CAD and Adobe Creative Suite skills
  • Good understanding of fabrics, washes, fits, and garment construction
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Positive, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Strong communication skills and confident working within a team environment
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced setting and manage deadlines
