Overview
We\’re looking for a Junior Print Designer to join a friendly, growing womenswear team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on trend led, commercial prints that customers love, from bold, statement florals to subtle, wearable patterns. You\’ll be involved in the full creative process, from trend research and concept development to preparing artwork for production, making your mark on collections that are both fashion-forward and commercially successful.
This role is based in central London and is hybrid.
Main responsibilities
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assist in creating original, on-brand print designs for seasonal collections across multiple product categories.
- Support the Senior Print Designer with trend research, mood boards, and inspiration sourcing.
- Prepare print files for production, ensuring accuracy in scale, colour, and repeat.
- Work closely with the design and product development teams to ensure prints meet creative and commercial goals.
- Maintain an organised digital library of artworks, colour palettes, and design references.
- Contribute fresh ideas during design meetings and actively participate in creative discussions.
Person Specification
- Relevant qualification in Textile/Print Design or a related creative field.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with a keen eye for detail and colour.
- Strong awareness of fashion trends, print techniques, and market competitors.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
