We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and busy womenswear supplier who are looking for a Junior Garment Technologist to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the UK's most well-known high street retailers, supporting the development of quality, trend-led womenswear across multi-product jersey and woven garments. This role is full-time, office-based (Monday to Friday) and would suit someone with at least 2-3 years of experience in garment technology, eager to grow their career within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You'll be supporting a hands-on technical team, ensuring high standards across all aspects of garment fit, quality, and production.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare garments for fit sessions and update technical workbooks
  • Accurately measure garments
  • Attend fit sessions, manage fittings, and provide detailed fit comments
  • Maintain and update size charts; communicate technical updates to factories
  • Liaise directly with suppliers and factories across Europe and the Far East
  • Oversee the production process and resolve any technical issues that arise
  • Work closely with design and sales teams

Person specification:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar garment tech role
  • Strong background in multi-product womenswear, including jersey and wovens
  • Experience working with or supplying high street retail brands
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player comfortable in a fast-paced environment
