A highly reputable and exciting fashion and licensed sports apparel business is looking to recruit a motivated and commercially minded Junior Account Manager / Sales Coordinator to support and develop retail partnerships across the European market. This role will play a key part in driving sales across licensed sports apparel and fashion product categories, working closely with well-known retail partners and sports licensors throughout Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their account management career who is keen to grow within a fast-paced, international business. Based in the company's Central London office, the role offers hybrid working and occasional European travel.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Support the delivery of European sales plans, contributing to revenue targets through effective account support, order management, and sales coordination.
- Manage the day-to-day running of key European retail accounts, acting as a main point of contact and building strong, professional relationships with retail partners.
- Present seasonal collections, new product drops, and commercial opportunities to retail partners, including attending face-to-face client meetings.
- Coordinate product orders end-to-end, from initial design requests and concept approvals through to handover and delivery, ensuring timelines and accuracy are maintained.
- Oversee retail marketing and licensing approvals, submitting creative assets for licensor sign-off, tracking approvals.
- Monitor sales performance, orders, and KPIs, supporting forecasting, reporting, and follow-up on outstanding actions to ensure targets are met.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback, sharing insights with senior stakeholders to support account strategies and future growth opportunities.
Person Specification:
- 1-2 years' experience in sales coordination, account management, or buying within fashion, sports apparel, or licensed products.
- Strong interest in fashion, sports apparel, and retail, with a commercial and customer-focused mindset.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally; European language skills are a plus.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and eager to learn and develop within a collaborative team.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); CRM experience is advantageous.
