We're recruiting for a fast-growing fashion supplier looking for a proactive Junior Account Manager to support key retail accounts and help drive new business.
Based in London this role oversees lead generation, and day-to-day commercial admin.
You'll research markets, promote products, maintain accurate sales records, and collaborate with the sales team to hit targets, gaining end-to-end exposure to the fashion supply cycle.
Main responsibilities will include
- Generate and qualify sales leads; book and prepare client meetings/showroom appointments.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients; act as a responsive point of contact.
- Assist in developing sales strategies, proposals, and seasonal pitches/line sheets.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify new categories, trends, and pricing opportunities.
- Support order lifecycle: sample requests, costing follow-ups, PO tracking, and delivery updates.
- Liaise with internal teams (design, production, merchandising/logistics) to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
- Monitor account performance versus targets; flag risks / opportunities and suggest actions.
Person specifications
- Previous experience in account support / sales / admin ideally within fashion or apparel.
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Passion for fashion/product and awareness of market/competitor landscape.
- Highly organised and detail-driven; able to manage multiple deadlines across accounts.
- Basic IT skills and familiarity with sales software.
