We are seeking an accomplished E‑commerce Manager to lead the strategic direction, performance, and operational execution of my client’s online retail business across the UK and international markets. This role requires a demonstrable track record within the fashion ecommerce sector, strong commercial judgement, and the ability to balance brand stewardship with data‑led performance optimisation.
This is a key position within the business. They are looking for an experienced and hands‑on E‑commerce Manager with a proven track record of growing online sales within a fashion brand. You will be responsible for the website’s overall performance, digital marketing strategy, and social media alignment to ensure consistent brand growth and increased revenue. You must be commercially minded, data‑driven, have a proven track record with a similar brand and be confident leading digital initiatives that deliver measurable results.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Own and manage the e‑commerce platform, ensuring it is fully optimised for sales, user experience, and conversion.
- Develop and execute a clear online growth strategy to increase traffic, conversion rate, and average order value.
- Analyse performance data including sales, customer behaviour, and campaign effectiveness; provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Drive digital marketing activity across paid social, PPC, email marketing, and SEO in line with brand and commercial objectives.
- Optimise adverts end-to-end, refining creative, content, placements, audience targeting, and scaling best‑performing campaigns.
- Load new adverts, set up audience targeting, and grow relevant onsite and social content.
- Run A/B tests and other optimisation initiatives to improve onsite advertising performance and the overall customer journey.
- Own testing and optimisation strategies to enhance customer experience and drive measurable performance uplift.
- Monitor KPIs and overall trading performance; provide weekly trading updates highlighting key issues and opportunities.
- Analyse reporting and data insights to identify trends, user behaviour changes, and opportunities to optimise the sales funnel with a commercial focus.
- Oversee website content, merchandising, and product presentation to maximise engagement and sales.
- Manage online promotions, pricing strategy, and stock availability to support revenue growth.
- Work closely with creative, digital marketing, and retail teams to ensure strong product launches and cohesive online campaigns.
- Lead and support the social media strategy, ensuring alignment between social content and commercial goals.
- Share cross‑channel insights to ensure adverts reflect current sales performance and trend data.
- Monitor competitor activity, fashion market trends, and emerging ecommerce technologies to maintain a competitive online presence.
- Adapt quickly to changes in the ecommerce landscape.
