An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mid-Weight Designer specialising in sports and graphics to join a global fashion business. You will play a key role in designing trend-driven sports apparel that captures the spirit of the game while aligning with brand guidelines. This role requires a strong understanding of graphic design, garment construction , and the ability to translate team branding into impactful, wearable designs.
Based in Central London offices, offering hybrid working and an excellent team culture .
Main responsibilities will include:
- Design and develop on-trend sportswear, lifestyle apparel, and graphic concepts, ensuring alignment with brand identity and seasonal direction.
- Create detailed technical sketches, colour palettes, and design specifications for production.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to keep designs relevant and competitive.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and licensing partners.
- Present design concepts and collections to internal stakeholders and retail partners.
- Participate in seasonal concept meetings and contribute to the overall creative vision.
Person specification:
- Strong portfolio showcasing graphic designs and apparel collections.
- Excellent proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of garment construction and production processes.
- Passionate about sports and fashion, with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative, proactive, and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
