Overview

We\’re working with a leading UK high street fashion supplier who are looking to appoint a Ladieswear Designer to join their London-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of leisurewear design, working closely with buyers and internal teams to deliver commercial yet trend-led collections. The company offers a supportive and fast-paced environment, with strong training and progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and designing seasonal ranges across ladies leisurewear
  • Creating CADs for buyer presentations and internal development
  • Building accurate tech packs to support sample development
  • Maintaining sample trackers, fabric and trim libraries
  • Liaising with merchandisers in Shanghai and supporting buyer communication
  • Supporting trend research, fabric sourcing and seasonal moodboards
  • Producing regular shop and market reports
  • Keeping design systems and shared drives organised and up to date
  • Participating in showroom meetings and contributing to inspirational shopping trips

Person Specification

  • Experience designing ladies leisurewear
  • Strong Illustrator and Photoshop skills; CLO 3D and InDesign a plus
  • Highly organised with a strong eye for trends, colour and shape
  • Proactive team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to develop forward-thinking designs in a long lead-time environment

This is a hybrid role based in Central London, working 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
