New opening Independent restaurant and cocktail bar in Mayfair. Full time starting 36K-42K/year salary. Kitchen closes at 10pm and Sundays only open for lunch.
Toum Rotisserie, Lebanese restaurant, terrace and listening bar; a new opening located on a beautiful corner of Maddox and Pollen Street in Mayfair and only a few minutes walk from Oxford Street tube station. The venue’s centrepiece is a 16-seat counter surrounding the rotisserie showcasing the theatrics of the open kitchen. There will also be additional table seating and a heated terrace. Hidden in the basement is a low-lit listening bar that offers a unique space for music lovers.
Roles, Hours and Pay
- Full-time opportunity joining a brigade of 5 professional chefs.
- New opening; 40-48 hours/week with 2 days off every week.
- Last orders from kitchen at 10pm.
- Sundays lunch service only.
- Some flexibility to choose between 40 and 48 hour contracts.
Your Experience
We are looking for professional CDP chefs with at least a year’s consistent experience in a known high street brand as CDP. Toum is Lebanese in cuisine however experience here is not necessary. We are looking for skilled chefs wanting to join a small professional team, be open to learning new and exciting dishes and have the opportunity to develop a career with us as we grow and open new restaurants. As a CDP Chef you will have experience working in an a la carte restaurant team, fresh produce, hands-on experience in prep, kitchen health and safety, stock management and prep.
The Opportunity
Tarek is hands-on supporting not only Toum but also Aline; a Lebanese kitchen located only a few doors down. Tarek plans to build a strong independent brand with future openings ahead. The opening team will be integral to the growth of the business, supported by a great team of hospitality professionals; future openings will develop existing team members up with a healthy succession plan.
