The Restaurant Group (TRG) is seeking an Experienced Management Accountant to join our highly successful and respected team on a 12 month fixed term basis. This role offers the opportunity to become a specialist in a key area of the P&L, while also gaining valuable experience in business partnering a division.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a section of the Income Statement across the Group, ensuring accurate recording, understanding, and communication.
- Deliver and communicate key financial information to the business in a timely and accurate manner.
- Partner with relevant teams in the business to provide support and analysis, aiding decision-making.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to guide business decisions.
- Calculate and post monthly journals to accurately report the performance of the business.
- Reconcile the balance sheet to control and safeguard assets.
- Provide ad-hoc financial support for operations and other head office functions.
- Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis projects.
- Work closely with the budget holder for your assigned P&L area to assist with budgets, monthly queries, and ad hoc work.
- Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process for the group.
- Foster strong relationships with the wider business to ensure alignment between Finance and operations.

Qualifications and Experience
