The Fixed Wire Testing Engineer uses their skills and experience to ensure the safety and compliance of electrical systems and equipment at sites across the Berkshire and West London region. They perform testing procedures as detailed in BS7671.

Role Requirements:

  • Qualified in C&G 2391 or 2394/95
  • AM2 Qualified
  • Holds Level 3 C&G 2360, 2330 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installations
  • Qualified in C&G 2382, 18th Edition
  • Possesses a full, valid driving license
  • A willingness to work flexible hours and travel to site

The role:

  • Submit reports (EICR, Observations, Site Audit Pro) to the required standard
  • Complete Thermal Image Reports
  • Complete Emergency Light testing and submit reports
  • Be available to work a reasonable amount of weekends throughout the year
  • Be available to work outside of core business hours as required by the Company
  • Organise and liaise with site contacts to ensure works are completed as specified
  • Works to be completed within the required time and budget
  • Complete any other tasks (Remedial Works etc) as required
