Job Title: Plumber (CIS Contract) Location: Reading and surrounding areas Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week About Us: We are a well-established Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering high-quality installation and maintenance services across commercial, industrial, and residential projects throughout the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our team on a CIS basis in the Reading area. The Role: Working on a variety of commercial and residential projects, you will be responsible for carrying out first and second fix plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard. You will work independently and as part of a wider site team, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Installation of hot and cold-water systems First and second fix plumbing works Sanitary ware installation and maintenance Testing and commissioning of plumbing systems Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications Ensuring all work is completed to current regulations and industry standards Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site Identifying and reporting defects or issues promptly Liaising with site management and other trades Ensuring projects are completed within agreed timescales Maintaining a clean and organised work area Accurately completing site paperwork and job reports Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience as a Plumber Valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card or JIB Plumbing Card (essential) NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification Experience working on commercial construction projects Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong knowledge of current plumbing regulations and standards Own tools and PPE Full UK Driving Licence preferred Reliable, professional, and capable of working independently What We Offer: Long-term CIS contract opportunities Competitive hourly/day rates Consistent work across Reading and surrounding areas Weekly payments Opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects Supportive and professional site teams Job Type: Full-time, CIS Contract Benefits: Weekly CIS payments Long-term work opportunities Free on-site parking (where available) Immediate start available
