The Resourcing Team is working with a forward-thinking and nationally renowned Security and Communications Company, who are NSI Gold and BAFE accredited. Specialising in the design, installation, service and maintenance of integrated security systems and specialist equipment. They work with a wide range of public and private sector businesses and have achieved a reputation for quality, care, and reliability, which is second to none.

Due to continued success, we are working in partnership with this business to expand the Customer Engagement Team in the Birmingham area and are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Account Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your career within the security and communications industry. You will need to have excellent communication skills and experience working in the security sector.

  • To secure and maintain strong, professional, and high-quality relationships with the customer base
  • To gain and maintain a strong relationship with manufacturers, distributors, and consultants within the security sector
  • To survey, design, and quote for the installation, service, and maintenance of a range of life safety systems with a strong focus on CCTV
  • To work with the wider team to support the submission of tenders and bids for new business
  • To work with the Head of Customer Engagement to produce commercial forecasts.

Strong interpersonal skills with experience of providing a world-class customer experience:

  • Experience of working within the Security Sector
  • Strong knowledge of complex CCTV systems, associated transmission, and networks
  • Experience of designing or installing security, life safety, and connected systems (including but not limited to CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, and Fire)
  • Understanding of integrated and networked systems
  • Good commercial understanding
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • IT literate and fully conversant with Microsoft software packages.
