£42,000.00-£45,000.00 per year + bonus
Job summary
The Fixed Wire Testing Engineer uses their skills and experienced to ensures the safety and compliance of electrical systems and equipment. They perform testing procedures as detailed in BS7671 as well as taking the lead when working with other engineers
Role Requirements
- Have at least 2 years testing experience in Commercial and Industrial environments
- Spend the required 40 hours per week on site
- Qualified in C&G 2391 or 2394/95
- AM2 Qualified
- Holds Level 3 C&G 2360, 2330 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installations
- Qualified in C&G 2382, 18th Edition
- Possesses a full, valid driving license
- A willingness to work flexible hours and travel to site
The role
- Submit reports (EICR, Observations, Site Audit Pro) to the required standard
- Complete Thermal Image Reports
- Complete Emergency Light testing and submit reports
- Be available to works a reasonable amount of weekends throughout the year
- Be available to work outside of core business hours as required by the Company
- Organise and liaise with site contacts to ensure works are completed as specified
- Works to be completed within the required time and budget
- Assist with the training and onboard of new engineers when joining the company
- Assist with training and development of Trainee engineers and updating required training logs
- Complete all Health and Safety training by the required due dates
- Assist the office with van swaps and vehicle servicing appointments
- Complete any other tasks (Remedial Works etc) as required by the Company
