Remote/site-based with an ability to travel to HQ in Midlands.

Salary - up to £60,000 per annum + company car/car allowance + annual bonus.

The company is a well-established company with over 30 years of experience in the design, installation, service, and maintenance of automatic fire sprinkler systems across the UK. As an LPCB 1048 approved contractor, they are recognised throughout the industry for delivering high-quality workmanship, reliability, and exceptional customer service.

Your responsibilities as a Contracts Manager include:

  • Overseeing and managing multiple fire sprinkler projects from concept through to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong working relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and handling any issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Supporting the Operations Director in the day-to-day running of the business, contributing to operational decisions and assisting with general management responsibilities.
  • Leading, mentoring, and coordinating teams, subcontractors, and other trades, ensuring all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, preparing progress reports, attending site and contract meetings, and communicating effectively with all stakeholders.

Can you show experience in some of these areas:

  • Proven experience in project or contract management within the fire sprinkler industry, with strong knowledge of standards such as BS EN 12845, NFPA, FM, and BS5306 Part 2.
  • Willingness to work towards LPCB qualifications, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role and a full UK driving licence.
