As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will provide Service OR Installation activities to life safety systems on commercial and retail sites across London and the South East.
- Complete all Installation / Service Inspection work in accordance with company procedures and system requirements ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard within agreed timescales.
- Resolve issues that may arise by identifying problems and finding resources to offer solutions.
Relevant experience and certifications for this role:
- Experience in Conventional Fire Detection Systems and Analogue Addressable Systems.
- Excellent time management.
- Experience in Air Sampling Systems and ideally Gas Suppression Systems.
- Good working knowledge of BS 5839.
- Good working knowledge of a range of common fire alarm software.
- Must have full UK driving licence.
- Fully qualified installation engineers will be considered for this role.
- Electricians with experience of fire alarm installations will be considered.
- Must be prepared to work away as when required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years in a similar role.
- CSCS / ECS card preferably FIA.
- City & Guilds 186 – Fire Systems.
- F.I.A./ Service / Commissioning or similar.
- CCNSG or equivalent.
- Asbestos awareness & Silica awareness.
- Manual handling & Ladder training.
- IPAF & PASMA.
