As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will provide Service OR Installation activities to life safety systems on commercial and retail sites across London and the South East.

  • Complete all Installation / Service Inspection work in accordance with company procedures and system requirements ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard within agreed timescales.
  • Resolve issues that may arise by identifying problems and finding resources to offer solutions.

Relevant experience and certifications for this role:

  • Experience in Conventional Fire Detection Systems and Analogue Addressable Systems.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Experience in Air Sampling Systems and ideally Gas Suppression Systems.
  • Good working knowledge of BS 5839.
  • Good working knowledge of a range of common fire alarm software.
  • Must have full UK driving licence.
  • Fully qualified installation engineers will be considered for this role.
  • Electricians with experience of fire alarm installations will be considered.
  • Must be prepared to work away as when required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years in a similar role.
  • CSCS / ECS card preferably FIA.
  • City & Guilds 186 – Fire Systems.
  • F.I.A./ Service / Commissioning or similar.
  • CCNSG or equivalent.
  • Asbestos awareness & Silica awareness.
  • Manual handling & Ladder training.
  • IPAF & PASMA.
