Location: Bracknell Town Centre (5-minute walk from Bracknell Station)

Rate: £240 per day

Overtime: Saturday: 1.5x rate, Sunday: 2x rate

Hours: 7:30am to 5:00pm

Duration: 2-3 months (potentially longer dependent on project requirements)

Project Overview: We are looking for experienced Electrical Improvers to support the completion of key electrical installation packages on a major town centre redevelopment project in Bracknell. This role will suit candidates who are capable of working productively under supervision, following instructions effectively, and supporting the project team in delivering critical works to programme.

Scope of Works:

  • Car Park Infrastructure
  • Assisting with lighting installations
  • Assisting with EV charging point installations
  • Cable pulling and termination support
  • Containment installation
  • Public Realm & Communal Areas
  • Installation support for street lighting
  • Signage power installations
  • External electrical infrastructure works
  • Assisting with testing and commissioning activities
  • Residential Apartments
  • Assisting with final fix installations
  • Snagging and remedial works
  • Preparing apartments for energisation
  • Supporting testing and commissioning activities

Essential Requirements:

  • ECS/CSCS
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Required)
  • Previous experience on commercial construction projects
  • Ability to work from drawings and instructions
  • Good understanding of electrical installation practices
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work to deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
  • EV charging installation experience
  • IPAF (advantageous)
  • PASMA (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist electricians with installation and commissioning works
  • Install containment, cabling and associated electrical equipment
  • Carry out basic termination works as directed
  • Maintain safe systems of work at all times
  • Support project delivery teams in meeting programme deadlines
  • Ensure work areas remain clean, organised and safe
  • Follow all instructions provided by site management
