Location: Bracknell Town Centre (5-minute walk from Bracknell Station)
Rate: £280 - £300 per day
Overtime:
- Saturday: 1.5x rate
- Sunday: 2x rate
Hours: 7:30am to 5:00pm
Duration: 2-3 months (potentially longer dependent on project requirements)
Project Overview: We are seeking experienced Electricians to support the delivery of the Bracknell Market Street Redevelopment project. The project is approaching a critical phase, with significant electrical works required to be completed before the end of September. Successful candidates will be able to integrate quickly into an established project team, work efficiently under direction, and contribute to achieving key programme milestones.
Scope of Works:
- Car Park Infrastructure
- Installation and commissioning of lighting systems
- Installation of EV charging infrastructure
- Cable installation, termination and testing
- Fault finding and rectification
- Public Realm & Communal Areas
- Installation of street lighting
- Installation of signage power supplies
- External containment and cabling works
- Testing and energisation of completed systems
- Residential Apartments
- Final fix electrical installations
- Testing and inspection
- Fault finding and snagging
- Energisation of approximately 20 residential apartments
Essential Requirements:
- ECS Gold Card (Required)
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Required)
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- Experience working on commercial and residential projects
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Proven ability to work independently and within project teams
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
- Experience with EV charging installations
- IPAF (advantageous)
- PASMA (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out installation works in accordance with project specifications
- Complete testing, inspection and fault-finding activities
- Ensure all works are completed safely and to programme requirements
- Work effectively under the direction of site management
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and site housekeeping
- Accurately complete any required project documentation
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, subcontractors and other trades
