This role is to manage a £10 million BESS (Battery Energy Storage facility) on a greenfield site. Taking the project from start to finish, handling the programme, RAMS, 2x Sub contractors on site and ensuring the stakeholders are kept up to date.
The project is broken down into 3 phases, looking at the earthwork and site clearance, new concrete pits being installed, setting up a de-watering system for the site and installing the foundations and platforms for the systems to site.
As a smaller scheme, you will run the project alongside a Commercial Manager who will handle the contract and sub-contractor payments on an NEC form of contract. You need to be able to start ASAP and ideally live in the local area as this project is 5 days a week on site.
Required Experience:- HNC / HND / Degree in Civil engineering or equivalent engineering-based subject.
- Previously managed a smaller £5m - £10m civil engineering scheme.
- Need to be currently residing in the Stoke on Trent region or commutable for the 18 month period.
- SMSTS card.
- Full driving licence.
