An excellent opportunity to join a Contractor's Highways division, working on NEC forms of contract across Framework and major infrastructure projects.
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a leading contractor delivering schemes for National Highways and other key clients. This role is suited to an experienced Quantity Surveyor who can manage their own projects while continuing to develop professionally within a supportive commercial team. You will be responsible for the commercial delivery of small to medium schemes from £1m to £20m in value, with support from a senior quantity surveyor when required.
Day-to-day duties may include:
- Supporting a highway project from inception through to final account.
- Preparation and management of cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitoring project costs against allocated packages of work.
- Day to day subcontractor accounts, valuations, and payments.
- Supporting in the reports regarding variations, claims, and contractual issues.
- Preparing final accounts.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external subcontractors.
This role is office-based 3 days per week with 2 days working from home.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Degree qualified (ideally in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management).
- Knowledge of NEC contracts.
- Full UK driving licence.
