Working for a Consultancy designing and delivering Utility diversions for major projects, including HS2 and the New Water Reservoirs.
Location: London (Hybrid working 3 days on-site and 2 days from home)
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 basic + Package (Flexible for the right person and experience)
Role Description: The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a consultancy involved with HS2 and other major Infrastructure projects, with this role sitting within the Utilities division and is focused on Utility diversions. Working closely between the Utility provider, client and the main contractor. This role ensures the Utility diversion is managed correctly. Looking at the designs, the approval process, technical assurance and then taking this through to the delivery. Working with the contractor to deliver the proposed package of works, highlighting any cost savings that can be made throughout the process.
Key responsibilities could include but are not limited to:
- Development of the scope of works for the Utilities diversion.
- Support in the creation of the project execution plans.
- Technical assurance checks over the survey scope and delivery.
- Managed Contractor & Sub-contractor performance.
- Develop works programmes for the diversion.
- Managed change for the utility diversion.
- Lead internal and external meetings regarding the package of works.
Job Requirement
Required Experience:
- Formal qualification – Degree ideally in Civil Engineering
- Experience in Project Managing Utilities projects (Pipeline / Diversions)
- Full driving licence
